A spiritu dominatus, Domine, libra nos,
From the lighting and the tempest, Our Emperor, deliver us.
From plague, temptation and war, Our Emperor, deliver us,
From the scourge of the Kraken, Our Emperor, deliver us.
From the blasphemy of the Fallen, Our Emperor, deliver us,
From the begetting of daemons, Our Emperor, deliver us,
From the curse of the mutant, Our Emperor, deliver us,
A morte perpetua, Domine, libra nos.
That thou wouldst bring them only death,
That thou shouldst spare none,
That thou shouldst pardon none
We beseech the, destroy them.
The Lectitio Divinitatus is a secret cult that postulates the worship of the Emperor of Mankind as a divine being.
The Emperor downplays his divinity, but those who believe in the Emperor’s godhood were of the opinion – as one member put it – that “only the truly divine deny their divinity”. The remembrancer Euphrati Keeler – who was attached to the 63rd Expeditionary Fleet, commanded by Warmaster Horus himself – has become a major figure, venerated as a prophet and living saint of the Emperor.
Such worship is frowned upon by the Emperor and the Council of Terra, and most especially by the Astartes and those serving them.
